Studio Sessions Currently unavailable

My family is moving (still staying local to Lewes) so I will be closing my in home studio temporarily. A new dedicated studio space is being built on our new farm. I will keep you updated here and on my social media when the new studio is up and running.

The experience

Ten tiny fingers. Ten tiny toes. Celebrate the miracle with timeless photos of your newborn.

Newborn sessions should be scheduled within the first 2 weeks of newness. Once you know your due date you can book your session to hold a spot in your birth month and then once your baby arrives we can adjust as needed to get you in during those first 2 weeks.

Studio sessions are posed newborn sessions which focus on your newborn and their tiny little features. These sessions take place in my residential studio in Lewes. I have many outfits, wraps, headbands and props to use to create those adorable curled up, blissfully sleeping newborn photos. Here we can capture your baby alone as well as with Mom and Dad or siblings if you choose. Just let me know in advance if we will be including other family members so that we can leave enough time at the end of the session.

Lifestyle sessions are done in your home and capture you and your baby in your own environment. From the nursery to anywhere else in your home that has great natural light, we capture a sense of you and your family in a very natural way.  I do bring some of my props that are easy to travel with but the primary focus is on the family and most photos are done with Mom & Dad holding the baby or the baby posed in bowls or baskets.

Note: these sessions are only available to the local Lewes/Rehoboth area.

Includes: online viewing gallery with a minimum of 20 digital files to be downloaded with print release. You can order prints from the gallery or download your digitals and print at any vendor of your choice.

Details

  • Your session includes a 2 hour mid-morning time slot, Monday to Friday. Theses sessions are done typically between 10am to 12pm to utilize optimal light through the windows.

  • Most sessions take about 3 weeks of processing time from the date of your shoot to receive the link to your gallery. Your 20 edited digital files can be downloaded from your gallery for you to keep or print at any place of your choice. Your gallery is also connected to a professional print house if you choose to order professional quality prints that are delivered directly to you.

  • Sneak Peeks on my facebook fan page and on instagram are a fun way for you to see a few edited shots from your session right away. They are only posted with your permission/request the day of the shoot. I do not automatically post them and will ask at the end of our session if you'd like a sneak peek. I know some people like to keep photos a surprise while others love getting to see some right away so it's 100% your choice if you'd like me post a sneak peek :-)

  • A typical newborn session will produce 20 photos. These sessions are much different than my family sessions as it it totally based on how your baby is feeling. I move through each shot slowly ensuring your little one stays safe and happy, taking time as needed for you to give plenty of snuggles and feeding if necessary. Therefore due to the process of setting up each shot and the additional post edits required for newborn photos, the number of digitals is less than a family shoot.

  • Composite Photos: These sessions also include one composite photo. These are finished prints that use a photo from our session of your baby and I edit it into a dream like setting. These photos give you a sweet unique photo all while keeping your baby happy in a secure environment. Composite photos are only done with studio sessions, not lifestyle sessions.

  • Parents & Siblings: Please let me know ahead of time if you would like to include photos of baby with Mom & Dad or with Siblings so that I can arrange the studio to be set up for these photos. For lifestyle sessions they will always include at least one parent because you will need to be holding the baby for the majority of the photos as I don’t travel with all the posing props that I do in the studio for posing baby alone.
