The experience

I know the importance of preserving this once-in-a-lifetime moment comes with some dedication. Finding a day without work obligations, sports practices and other commitments to get your family all together in one place can be just as challenging as finding a unicorn. But I can promise you this, when you arrive at your session the fun will begin.

My goal is to have you laughing before we even take that first photo. Your life is beautiful and full of spectacular moments and I want your photos to reflect that. We will laugh, play games, make dumb jokes and in the midst of all that fun we will create beautiful portraits for you.

The INVESTMENT

SESSION FEE: $400

Includes: edited digital files and print release. An ordering gallery with professional printing available but you do not have to print through your gallery. You can download your edited digitals and print at any place of your choice. My #1 recommendation for prints is www.mpix.com if you choose not to print through your gallery.

*Your gallery will remain active for 30 days from the date of your session.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve your session date. The remaining balance ($300) is due at the session.

I strive to make your photography session experience as simple as possible. My sessions are all inclusive with no further purchases required. Although I do offer professional printing through your gallery, you are able to download your digitals from the gallery and print at any place of your choosing. Printing through your gallery or through mpix is always recommended as those labs are color matched and will not alter with the tone, sharpness or quality of the images. The photos will print as beautifully as they are displayed on your screen. Printing through your gallery is connected directly to the printer so products are delivered directly to you. Consumer labs such as Costco, Shutterfly, Walgreens and all other local labs will not render professional results and will not represent the quality of the images. I'm not responsible for the results of the images printed outside of the labs I recommend.

Details

• Your session includes a 1 hour time slot that is shot at the "magic hour" (the hour before sunset), Sunday to Friday evenings.

• Typical sessions take about 3 weeks of processing time from the date of your shoot to receive the link to your gallery. Your edited digital files can be downloaded from your gallery for you to keep or print at any place of your choice. Your gallery is also connected to a professional print house if you choose to order professional quality prints that are delivered directly to you.

• Sneak Peeks on my facebook fan page and on instagram are a fun way for you to see a few edited shots from your session right away. They are only posted with your permission/request the night of the shoot. I do not automatically post them and will ask at the end of our session if you'd like a sneak peek. I know some people like to keep photos a surprise while others love getting to see some right away so it's 100% your choice if you'd like me post a sneak peek :-)

• A typical family session will produce 35-40 photos. It all depends on how much fun everyone is having the day of the shoot and how many variations we can get through in the hour. I don’t hold photos back just to keep to a certain number, so most sessions will net well over the 35 if everyone is having fun. So mom's...work those bribes of candy for the little ones and I'll make it fun for them so we get lots of cooperation.

• Extended Family Sessions: I love getting to capture extended families in a session. However with large groups more time is needed both with capturing a variety of scenes as well as a much longer editing time on the backend. Therefore, If you have a group with over 10 people there will be a fee of $50 added to your session to compensate for the additional editing time of your gallery. These galleries also typically net many more photos than a traditional session. If your group is larger than 15 people you will need to book a 1.5 hour session for a total session price of $600. It takes a much longer time to organize groups of that size for the full family photos and still be able to capture each individual family unit as well as those kiddos and these sessions typically net 60 plus digitals. We will keep things rolling and have lots of fun playing so I promise it will go by fast for the little ones.
